I got the honor to play soccer with Lydia at Liberty for her freshman year. To this day she is still one of the hardest working and strongest people I know. Even though Lydia was a freshman she always put her best foot forward and greatly contributed to the team as the season progressed. A memory that exemplifies her grit and determination is that Lydia always found a way to get a nose bleed. This shows she was always competing for herself and to benefit her team. Also, to show her character even more most of the time you would see her smiling or laughing it off afterwards. Her smile and energy was always contagious and even though I only knew her for a short time she made a lasting impact on my life, she reminds me to always try to go through life with a smile even when things aren't going the best.
I miss you so much Lyds and think of you everyday. I wear my bracelet everyday to remind me to live as you did sweet girl, hope you are dancing up there like always~Alexis
